Conspirator Casting Director and Extras to assist the Ronald McDonald House

Conspirator Casting Director and the Extra Hands group to hold several events benefiting the Ronald McDonald House.
The Conspirator Casting Director Tona Dahlquist and the community service group Extra Hands will be collecting much needed items for the Ronald McDonald House Friday July 23, 2010 and Saturday July 24, 2010.
Ms. Dahlquist is no stranger to the coastal areas having worked on such films as The “Conspirator”, “Forrest Gump”, “Radio” and “Dear John.”
“I truly enjoyed my time in Savannah while filming the Conspirator. Everyone was so kind and supportive. We felt it was important to return and give back to a city that gave us so much. The Ronald House Charities of the Coastal Empire is a wonderful and deserving organization we are proud to assist.” ~ states Dahlquist
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a “Home away from home” for families with critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at area hospitals. Other core programs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire include the Ronald McDonald Family Room, a “Haven in the hospital” for families with children receiving treatment at St. Joseph’s/Candler hospital and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile that provides under-served children with free dental examinations and preventive treatment.

Extra Hands along with Conspirator background talent will be on hand Friday to accept your Ronald McDonald House donation items from 4pm -7pm at 12056 Abercorn St., Savannah, Ga. 31419 (Across from St. Joseph Hospital in the old Spiva Law / O.C Welsh bldg. parking lot ) Drive thru, Drop off and Make A Difference.
Saturday July 24, 2010 Events
Casting Director Tona Dahlquist will be conducting the following Seminars to benefit the Ronald McDonald House;
Advice for Actors - 9am -10am
(What you should and should not be doing if you want to make it as an actor) Give and Get -Advice and tips to help you make it in the business.
Reality TV Casting - 11am -12pm(Advice for those interested in applying for Reality TV Shows) Have you ever wonder why some folks get cast and others don’t? Get the real scoop on reality casting. Getting Real for Ronald.
To attend a seminar: A $10 contribution to Extra Hands plus an item from the Ronald McDonald House wish list for each seminar. You must donate an item from the Ronald McDonald list to attend. A $20 contribution and 2 items for Ronald McDonald House are needed if you plan to attend both seminars.
Space is limited. All attending a seminar can bring a non returnable headshot or snapshot and sign up to be placed in our casting files for upcoming projects.

Wish List Items Needed for Ronald McDonald House include:
30 Gallon Trash Bags, Paper Plates, Plastic Cups, Boxes or bags of Individually packaged/single serving snacks (crackers, chips, fruit cups etc), Individually packaged drinks/juices, Individual/single serving boxed cereals, Clorox Wipes, Laundry Bleach, Paper towels.

The Extra Hands organization, founded by Tona Dahlquist, consists of film crew, actors, background extras, Reality stars and movie fans across the southeast coming together to Make A REEL Difference by extending an extra hand to those in need. The group’s most recent fundraising projects included adopting and granting the wishes of 2 special children thru the Make A Wish Foundation.
