Objective

I am looking to find employment with a company that is established. I have been working on Ft. Stewart Military base for over five years. The pay is great as well as the hours, but it is a contract position and the contract is coming to an end. I want to provide for my family and I am willing to work hard.

Experience

- With over 13 years experience in inventory and production control procedures.

- I have been involved effectively with most levels of supply chain operations & management.

- As a sales specialist (Home Depot 7 years), I have handled outside/inside sales, imports and exports of special order items.

- During this time I have been developing skills in client / workforce relationship Building, having to network and form a client and vendor base.

- I am well versed in tracking shipments on backorder or in transit so that the customer and supervisors can be notified as to what was going on with their purchases as needed.

- Being an assistant department manager, I have had to write performance appraisals as well as development and training plans for those I oversaw, to produce continual improvement.

- In sales, one of the main things I have learned is the importance of customer care and retention. Without the customer you have no business and without a satisfied and team playing staff you have no production.

- Having worked on a military base over the past few years, I have dealt heavily with containerization & packaging procedures.

- I have taken what I've learned in prior positions and have developed several time saving techniques and procedures to increase production while staying within mil-spec and safety standards.

- I work closely with my supervisors to continually improve my own quality of work safety and production.

- In an office setting I can type thirty to forty words a minute having a good working knowledge of windows systems, FEDLOG and most other systems involved with my field.

- I am able to operate stock selectors at levels ranging from ground floor to the 5th storage level (approx 18’ high or better) and all other manner of lift and pallet truck equipment this includes all terrain type.

- I am able to work extended hours being flexible, realizing that work schedule may fluctuate based on the mission at hand.

- I am able to stand for prolonged periods of time, without strain I can lift and carry materials that weigh an excess of 60 lbs.

- I maintain a valid state driver’s license as well as DDC and on post licenses (including but not limited to OSHA). If needed I can obtain a CDL class license.
