Experience

· Able to communicate effectively utilizing sound judgment, self-motivation, eagerness and willingness to learn, oriented towards efficiency and organization, independent but with a commitment to team success and assignment at hand.

· Experience in preparing patients

· Sterilizing instrument

· Keeping the patient's mouth free of debris during the procedure

· Handing the dentist the appropriate instruments

· Taking impressions

· Experience with Cerec machine

· Answering Telephones, Filing Insurance and charts

· Prepare dental materials to include cements, amalgam, composite, impression materials, root canals, crowns, ect.

· Promptly follow all instructions from the dentist dealing with patient comfort.

· Take inventory, stock all supplies, instruments and medications and order supplies.

· Other responsibilities include: Taking, developing and processing dental x-rays and maintaining x-ray machinery, performing required laboratory procedures, using four-handed assisting technique and keeping dental equipment in good, clean condition at all times.

· Participate in-service training, department and general staff meetings, and clinics.

· Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
