We continue our trip to the past, and across two very different cultures. Most photos were taken in either rural & small town southeast Ohio or Okinawa, Japan.

Suporting the war effort, this patriot took the time to photograph the island landscapes and the customs of its people.

One can only image how strange the culture and landscape of Japan must have appeared to this 18-22 year-old Ohio farm boy. He went from working the family farm to fixing jet aircraft in the pacific in a few short months.
